Personal Democracy Forum Ukraine
Personal Democracy Forum Ukraine since 2016 co-organized in Kyiv by TechSoup, ePaństwo Foundation and Civil Network OPORA is a unique opportunity for activists from all regions of Ukraine to integrate, share experience and learn from the international civic tech community. It offers space for debate on the role of technology in building a democratic, cooperative and inclusive society.
We regularly organize workshops to train skills, such as: Data Storytelling for change, Data Advocacy: visual know-hows for NGOs, Data opening. Workshops are dedicated for civil society actors working in the field of anti-corruption in CEE.
TransparenCEE community members have been meeting on different occasions (during workshops, hackathons and camps) in order to gain new skills, follow the trends in civic-tech environment, but also to find potential partners and extend the network.
Cross-regional Working Group is a new format we came up with for offline and online discussions via different channels. In the framework of the Groups TransparenCEE community members talk about public procurement, corporate registers, decision making and citizen engagement, among other things.
3 days about data and communication bringing together journalists, CSO activists, marketing specialists, business professionals, government officials, data analysts, developers and designers working with data or willing to explore the data opportunities to inspire, share knowledge, network and collaborate.
